This policy explains what information East-West Shilajit Company collects when you use this website or contact us, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We are a business-to-business manufacturer, so almost everything here concerns business enquiries rather than consumer purchases.
Who we are
East-West Shilajit Company is a manufacturer of Himalayan shilajit, registered in Pakistan. Our head office is at Flat 406, Block B, Meher Apartments, Sector H-13, Islamabad 44000, Pakistan, and our production facility is in Ghazikot Township, Mansehra, Pakistan.

What we collect
Information you give us
When you submit the enquiry form on our contact page, we receive the details you enter:
- Your name
- Your business or brand name
- Your email address
- Your WhatsApp number
- Your country, if you provide it
- The product format and order volume you are interested in
- How you would prefer us to reply
- Anything you write in the message field
We also receive whatever you send us directly by email, WhatsApp or phone.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting and security systems record basic technical information when a page loads, including your IP address, browser type and the pages you visited. This is used to keep the site running and to block abuse. We do not use it to build a profile of you.
Why we use it
We use the information you send us for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry and, if it goes further, to quote, sample, manufacture and ship an order. In practice that means replying to you, preparing pricing, sending lab reports, arranging samples, and keeping a record of what was agreed.
We do not sell your information. We do not rent it, trade it, or pass it to marketing companies. We do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.
Who else sees it
Your details are handled by the people at East-West Shilajit Company who deal with enquiries and orders. Beyond that, a small number of service providers necessarily process data on our behalf:
- Our web host, which stores the website and the emails it sends
- Our email provider, which delivers enquiry notifications to us
- Shipping and freight companies, when an order is placed and an address is needed to deliver it
- PayPal, our payment processor, which takes the payment when you buy a digital product from this website. The store itself runs on WooCommerce software on our own website
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, for example in response to a lawful request from a government authority.
Cookies and embedded content
This website uses a small number of cookies to keep it working properly, such as remembering that a page has been loaded and helping our caching system serve pages quickly.
Some pages embed videos hosted on YouTube. These do not load until you click play. Once you do, YouTube may set its own cookies and receive information about your visit, under Google's own privacy policy rather than ours. If you would rather not be tracked by YouTube, simply do not click play.
We may use Google Search Console to see how our pages appear in search results. This shows us aggregate data such as which search terms lead people to the site. It does not identify individual visitors.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. The site will still work, though some things may be slower.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an order are kept for up to two years, in case you come back to us, and then deleted.
Records relating to actual orders, such as invoices, shipping documents and export paperwork, are kept for as long as Pakistani tax and trade law requires us to keep them.
Keeping it safe
Our website runs over an encrypted HTTPS connection, access to enquiry data is limited to the people who need it, and our systems are kept updated.
No website can promise perfect security, and we will not pretend otherwise. What we can say is that we do not store payment card details on this website at any point.
Your rights
Whatever country you are in, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what information we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete your information, where we are not required by law to keep it
- Stop contacting you

If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Union, the UK GDPR and EU GDPR give you these rights formally, along with the right to object to processing and the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority. We treat every request the same way regardless of where it comes from.
International transfers
We are based in Pakistan. If you contact us from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and stored in Pakistan, and possibly in other countries where our hosting and email providers operate. By sending us an enquiry you understand that this is the case.
Children
This is a business-to-business website. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Significant changes will be flagged clearly rather than slipped in quietly.
