These terms cover the use of this website and the general basis on which East-West Shilajit Company supplies wholesale, bulk and private label shilajit. Every order is confirmed separately in writing, and the terms of that written confirmation take precedence over anything on this page.
Who we are
East-West Shilajit Company is a manufacturer of Himalayan shilajit, registered in Pakistan, with its head office at Flat 406, Block B, Meher Apartments, Sector H-13, Islamabad 44000, Pakistan, and its production facility in Ghazikot Township, Mansehra, Pakistan.
Throughout this page, "we" and "us" mean East-West Shilajit Company, and "you" means the business enquiring or ordering.
This is a business-to-business service
This website sells digital products (ebooks and downloadable guides) directly to customers worldwide. Payments are processed by PayPal. Digital products are licensed for personal use only and may not be resold, shared or redistributed. Wholesale and bulk shilajit enquiries are handled separately by direct enquiry and are not sold through this website.
By enquiring, you confirm that you are acting on behalf of a business and are authorised to do so.
Quotations and orders
Nothing on this website is a binding offer. Prices quoted in an enquiry reply are indicative and remain valid for 30 days unless we say otherwise, and are subject to raw material availability and current harvest conditions.
An order exists once we have confirmed it to you in writing and received the agreed advance payment. Until both of those have happened, nothing is reserved.
Our standard commercial terms are below. Anything different must be agreed in writing before production begins.
Lead times begin once payment has cleared and, for custom orders, once final artwork has been approved by you in writing. They are good-faith estimates. Weather is a genuine factor in our process, because sun-drying cannot be rushed, and we would rather tell you a batch needs another week than ship it early.
Shipping, customs and duties
Unless your written order confirmation says otherwise, goods are supplied ex-works from Pakistan and risk passes to you when the goods are handed to the carrier.
Import duties, taxes, customs clearance and any licences or registrations required to import shilajit into your country are entirely your responsibility. Rules for botanical and supplement ingredients vary widely between markets, and we cannot advise on them. Please check before you order.
We prepare full export documentation and will work with you to supply any additional paperwork your customs authority asks for.
Product, testing and lab reports
We manufacture gold grade Aftabi sun-dried shilajit and test it through independent third-party laboratories. Reports are made available on request, each carrying its own batch number.
Shilajit is a natural material harvested from rock. Colour, aroma, viscosity and exact compound levels vary between batches and between seasons. Batch-to-batch variation within our published ranges is normal and is not a defect.
We encourage you to verify independently. Confirm any report we give you directly with the laboratory that issued it, and send a sample to an accredited laboratory of your own choosing before you commit. We would rather you check than take our word for it.
Health claims and regulatory compliance
Nothing on this website is medical advice. Statements about shilajit on this site have not been evaluated by the United States Food and Drug Administration, the European Food Safety Authority, or any comparable regulator. Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
If you resell our material under your own brand, you are responsible for the claims you make and for regulatory compliance in every market you sell into. That includes labelling, permitted claims, ingredient declarations, dosage statements, product registration and any advertising rules that apply.
We supply the material and its test data. We do not approve, review or take responsibility for your marketing copy, your label text or your product positioning.
Private label and artwork
Where we produce private label goods for you:
- Your artwork stays yours. Your logo, brand name, label design and copy remain your property. We use them only to produce your order.
- Our brand stays ours. The East-West Shilajit name, logo and website content remain our property and may not be used on your packaging or marketing without written permission.
- You warrant that you own your artwork or have the right to use it, and that it does not infringe anyone else's trademark or copyright. If a claim arises from artwork you supplied, it is your responsibility.
- Approve before we print. Once you approve artwork in writing and printing begins, changes are at your cost.
Cancellations and returns
An order can be cancelled without charge at any time before production or printing begins. After that, the advance payment covers work already carried out and materials already committed, and is not refundable.
Custom-printed packaging cannot be cancelled or returned once printing has started, because it carries your branding and has no other use.
If goods arrive damaged, short-shipped or materially different from the agreed specification, tell us within 14 days of delivery with photographs and your batch number. Where the fault is ours we will replace the goods or refund them. We ask you to raise it promptly so we can trace the batch while the records are fresh.
Website content
The text, photographs, videos, designs and lab reports on this website belong to East-West Shilajit Company. You may not copy them for your own commercial use without our written permission. Reproducing our lab reports under another company's name is something we take particularly seriously, because it is the exact practice this business exists to argue against.
We keep the site accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee it is free of errors, or that it will always be available without interruption.
Limitation of liability
Where we are at fault, our liability for any order is limited to the value of that order.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profit, lost contracts or reputational harm. We are not liable for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including weather, transport disruption, customs delays or export restrictions.
Nothing here limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and the courts of Pakistan have jurisdiction over any dispute.
Before anyone reaches that point, we would much rather talk. Most problems in this trade come from an assumption nobody wrote down, and they are usually fixed with a phone call.
Changes to these terms
We may update this page from time to time. The version in force for your order is the version published on the date we confirmed that order in writing.
Questions before you order
Ask us anything about these terms. We would rather answer it now than have it come up later.
